John Coulthart has put a marvellous face to Chaoticum 1st album!

Somebody peers through a window into thy soul. Each night thou must pass along a myriad of gaol doors, as begging hands stretch forth to catch thy form, to overtake thine most profound being.
Beware of putting thy hand to any of these tortured souls, lest they leap through thy open will-window in this, thy life, and thou shall be lost forever, cursed into living another's EXIsTence.
Forget not, thou art the whole age, as some Slavic languages reveal the etymology of the word human to be. That is to say, eternity is fixed into thee and thou hast delved into the Divine Spark, that imperishable glimmer coming of ineffable darkness, falling into the arms of Man.
This release was an outstanding coalescing of ideas, a tuning and re-tuning of the look and the feel, until the chemical marriage has been completed, and the alchemical fusion begets the birth of something truly spectacular. Now, the release is nigh to its design finishing.
Keep watch for the quiet stalking of strangers amongst thy inner folds!

JOHN COULTHART is to design Chaoticum release

Once again, exquisite dark fantasy artist John Coulthart joins us to design the first Chaoticum release at HCD.
He has already stunned us with his arch careful design for our HCD compilation AL: 100th Anniversary.
To those who are not familiar with his outstanding illustrations for H. P. Lovecraft's works, we recommend browsing through his recent collection release, The Haunter Of The Dark And Other Grotesque Visions, a book published by Creation Oneiros.
As soon as we receive his first sketches of the digipack and the poster, we will post them here for your pleasure, to enjoy before you get your own copy of the album.

CHAOTICUM: New act has been signed for HCD

CHAOTICUM delves into the dark corridors of the mind with their first official release from HORUS CyclicDaemon, [Psycho] Log: Y.
Weaving madness through electric sound and half-crazed vocals, CHAOTICUM unveils this brief peering beyond the shroud of uncertainty into the gaping night, calling to mind the powerful works of Coph Nia, and the sublime melodies and haunting atmosphere of The Unquiet Void.

To be released in July 2007 in a limited edition of 500 digipack copies.

Vladimir Igoshin (Ossaserpia) has created Opus alchymicum, spectacular account of the »work« of the musickal alchemists who developed a symbolic kind of psychochemistry, aimed at producing the gold of mystical illumination through celestial musick. See theories by Robert Fludd and Rosicrucian theories of the monochord.
Very unique melancholy drone chamber musick with some strange industrial elements. Vladimir Igoshin is known for his contributions to HCD compilations such as Lust From The Underworld and/or AL: 100th Anniversary.
Special art-works designed by outstanding Madeline von Foerster!
The opus consists of pressed CD in paper sleeve with impression; 16-pages A5 hard-bound book with impression on the cover, equipped with flyleafs at the front and the back including printed alchemical symbols; 6 alchemical graphics by Madeline von Foerster with an overlays; A3 poster with explanatory text to each alchemical graphic, and impression again; embossed CD sleeve-jacket.
